The 6-cylinder Volvo Penta D6 engine is developed using the latest models of modern diesel technology.

The D8 is a 6-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 550 hp. The unit is supplied with the EVC E3 electronic platform for communication with the engine management system, as well as with a two-stage turbocharger in order to achieve outstanding performance while maintaining excellent maneuverability at low speeds.

The marine diesel engines Volvo Penta D9 have been developed using the latest technology and have been successfully produced since 2010. In a diesel engine of this type, Volvo Penta has applied the latest developments and equipment to increase power and reliability while maintaining a relatively small weight and size.

The D9 engines are built using the latest systems and electronic control units. The engine design uses a high-pressure injector control system, a twin turbo turbocharger with an intercooler and a control unit for cumulative power increase.
