Diesel power stations based on the Volvo-Penta engine (Sweden) are designed to provide uninterrupted power supply as an independent source. Many years of production experience and quality control of Volvo Penta allow us to produce modern products that meet the most stringent global requirements. Due to the car origin of these engines, they have high acceleration, and being used as power units of the DGU, they provide their quick adaptation to load changes, which means less time of transient voltage regulation and, as a result, better stability and higher quality of electricity.

* (PRIME) – a long mode of operation. In this mode, it is possible to overload up to 10% of the rated power within 1 hour, not more than 1 time in 12 hours.
** (STANDBY) – the operating mode at which the DGU can operate at rated power without overload capability. Maximum operating time during the year is not more than 500 hours.
Diesel generator | The power plant is a single unit, mounted on a common frame and consisting of an engine and an alternating current generator, connected together by a vibration isolating coupling. The Onis Visa power plant includes all the nodes and units necessary for normal operation. Individual standard elements can be replaced in accordance with the special requirements of the Customer. It is possible to install additional equipment and accessories that serve to increase the convenience of operation of the DGU. |
Engine | At Onis Visa power plants, the Volvo-Penta diesel engine (produced in Sweden) with water cooling is equipped with a monitoring and protection system. |
Generator | Initially, all Onis Visa power plants supplied to Russia are equipped with original Stamford alternators (produced in England). When placing an order at a factory in Italy, it is possible to install a Marelli Motori generator (manufactured in Italy). A brushless alternator is used, which eliminates the need for frequent maintenance. |
Fuel system | The fuel tank built into the diesel generator frame Onis Visa is equipped with a standard fuel filter and is designed to supply the engine with fuel for a long time. It is possible to complete the power plant with an enlarged fuel tank. To inject fuel from external tanks, manual and automatic fuel pumps can be installed. |
Cooling system | The engine cooling system consists of a radiator, a fan, a water pump and a thermostat. The fan provides cooling of the engine and generator surfaces. In addition, the generator has its own cooling fan. |
DC system | Depending on the type of Onis Visa power plant, 12V and 24V batteries are used to start and power the built-in control and monitoring system. A charging generator (DC generator) is installed on the unit to recharge the battery while the diesel generator is running. To charge the batteries when the generator is not operating, an additional charger with external power supply can be optionally installed. |
Control panel | The digital monitoring system GUARD EVOLUTION can automatically start and stop diesel generators Onis Visa, regulate the engine speed, and also provide parallel operation of several power plants (option). The digital monitoring system GUARD EVOLUTION also carries out constant monitoring of the state of the engine, generator and all systems of the DGU.
